Terms of Use

These terms cover the ABC Widgets app and this website. ABC Widgets is made by Bryce Borden (“we”, “us”). By using the app or the site, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use them.
The short version
- The app is licensed to you through the App Store under Apple's standard terms.
- Prices, scores, odds, weather, surf and health numbers are for information only. They aren't investment, betting or medical advice.
- The games use play chips. They have no cash value and there are no prizes.
- ABC Widgets Pro is billed and managed by Apple.
Your license to use the app
ABC Widgets is licensed, not sold, to you under Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the standard EULA). That agreement covers how you may install and use the app. These terms add to it. If the two ever conflict about your license to the app, the standard EULA wins.
Information only, not advice
ABC Widgets shows data from your iPhone and from public data services. Market prices, crypto prices, sports scores, game lines and prediction-market odds can be delayed, incomplete or wrong, and they're shown for information only. Nothing in the app is investment, financial, betting or gambling advice. Don't make a trade or a bet based on a widget.
Health numbers like steps, heart rate, sleep and walking steadiness come from Apple Health and your iPhone's sensors. They're for general interest only. ABC Widgets isn't a medical device and doesn't give medical advice. Talk to a doctor about your health.
Weather, surf, tide and air-quality numbers are forecasts or estimates. Don't rely on them for safety or navigation. Check local conditions and official warnings.
Games and play chips
Blackjack, Slots, Dice and Roulette are just for fun. They use play chips that have no cash value. Play chips can't be bought, sold, traded, cashed out or exchanged for anything. There are no prizes. Game Lines and Prediction Markets only show public odds as information. ABC Widgets doesn't take bets or wagers and has no real-money gaming.
ABC Widgets Pro
ABC Widgets is free to download. ABC Widgets Pro is an optional subscription, monthly or yearly, sold through the App Store. Apple bills it to your Apple Account and handles the payment, renewals and refunds.
- The subscription renews automatically unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- You can manage or cancel it in iPhone Settings: tap your name, then Subscriptions.
- If a free trial is offered, it turns into a paid subscription when it ends unless you cancel at least 24 hours before then.
- Refund requests go to Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
The price and what's included are shown in the app before you buy.
Your data
We don't collect your personal data. There's no account, and your health data never leaves your iPhone. The Privacy Policy explains exactly what the app reads and what it sends to public data services.
Shared setup links
When you share your setup, the link holds your widget layout, fonts and sizes. It doesn't include your numbers. Anyone who has the link can open it, so share it with people you choose.
Data from other services
Some widgets show data from services like Apple Weather, Open-Meteo, Coinbase, Yahoo Finance, ESPN, Kalshi, Polymarket and Wikipedia. We don't control those services, and their names belong to their owners. Showing their data doesn't mean they endorse ABC Widgets. If a service changes or stops, a widget that uses it may stop working or change.
Using the app fairly
Please don't misuse ABC Widgets: don't try to break it, copy or resell it, get around Pro, or use it to break the law. We can change, add or remove features and widgets at any time.
No warranty
To the extent the law allows, ABC Widgets and this site are provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. We don't promise that the app will always work, that widgets will update on time, or that data will be accurate.
Limit of liability
To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for any indirect or consequential losses, or for losses from decisions you make based on what a widget shows. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not apply to you. Nothing here limits rights you have under the law that can't be waived.
Changes to these terms
If these terms change, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date. If you keep using ABC Widgets after that, the new terms apply.
